Savory Pho has lots of great menu options. Service is always quick. And the vibe is nice and casual.

A colleague had the hankering for pho, so we made our way down here for a quick lunch. We had a party of 14 and were seated quickly since the restaurant wasn't too full. The interior was brightly lit with LEDs all around, and American pop music from the aughts was playing. Although I would usually go for something like a bun thit nuong, I went for their pho dac biet to try their soup (the Savory House Special with Flat Rice noodles). Order was completed just as fast, which was surprising considering how large our group was and the variety of selections which included sides of chicken wings and spring rolls as well as iced coffee. The soup was delicious and included a decent amount of the beef steak, brisket, flank, tendon, tripe, and beef balls. I felt the flat rice noodles were slightly overdone and broke easily. With that said, it was a satisfying bowl of pho overall, and the waitstaff was on top of things.

Still our favorite place to diner in Porter Ranch because the Vietnamese food is nostalgic. The service is generally good but our favorite server is Carmen. She's friendly, quick, and always available as soon as we need anything. She must be very intuitive! I love the decor for lunar new year, but any time of year the restaurant is bright and clean. Now that we've tried more dishes, our current favorites are the Catfish soup, crispy pan fried noodle, and house special pho. The Catfish soup is sweet and sour with lots of fresh veggies. It's bright and comforting. The crispy pan fried noodle is a deep fried noodle that is super crunchy and is smothered in a sauce and topped with veggies and meat. It's very filling and we love it with the pickled chillies. The house special pho is a great way to have pho with a little bit of everything in a savory broth. I love it when I'm not feeling well or when the weather is cold or rainy.

First time coming here and it was honestly not bad. Very clean interior with plenty of seating, quick service as well. I liked how you can change the pho noodles out for flat rice noodles. Portions were really good, with clean tasting broth. I would come back!

I am lucky to be living in an area of the SFV that has superb eateries that are within a short distance of travel. One of these is Savory Pho, a Vietnamese restaurant, on Tampa and Rinaldi, in Porter Ranch. While I have been here several times before, I am embarrassed that it took me so long to come back :) Since my last visit about a year ago, the menu is revamped with a wider range of choices. There are pictures of almost all the mouth watering selections and as for me, it was extremely hard to decide what to order, because they all looked so good. I decided to start with an appetizer, the Tôm Rang Muối (Salt and Pepper Shrimp). It arrived at my table elegantly plated with attractive optics. There were seven good sized succulent fresh shrimp that were battered and crispy fried, then dressed with lightly stir fried jalapeños, scallions and white onion slices. On the side was pink salt and a wedge of lemon. Each bite of the shrimp was amazing, a good crunch and bursting with taste and flavor. Easily one of the best I have had. By the time I was finished, I was so satisfied that I did not need another dish. When I am blown away with a choice (like this one), I never drink water (during or after), so that I can leave the restaurant, with my taste buds still fondly remembering the meal. Service, like before, was attentive, patient, friendly and nothing short of excellent.

I have been here several times. I especially love their vermicelli bowl. It's refreshing and not too flavorful. It comes with 2 chagoi so I didn't have to order it seperately. It is my favorite dish and keep coming back here for it. On a cold day I get chicken pho. It's very delicious and perfect for a cold day.. its a good soup when it's cold or if you are feeling under the weather. The restaurant is clean and so is their bathroom. Kinda sad that they got rid of their claw machine...even if ni never won anything. Hahahah

This place is amazing! Place is always clean & great service! I feel like the area has noticed too because every time I come now there's more people! I get the Savory House Special Pho without the Tripe & Tendon & of course my favorite, Shaking Beef! So good! Everything we've tried has been good but those are my two favorites! I prefer the Pho here compared to the Phǒ Sǒ1 places. Great restaurant :) I'm glad more people are eating here!

PHOntastic place :))) I have to say, I'm no expert in Pho, but I really enjoyed my food. The service was very nice and friendly. The wait was .... Wait what wait? Exactly! We were served food really quick! We tried house Pho and filet mignon pho. Both were super fresh, broth is amazingly balanced, meats are good quality. We also got fried calamari and wings. Those were good too. Place had a good vibe. I liked the bottles they brought water and it tasted good. So yes, I recommend this place and I will be back!

I always enjoy a great pho spot and this fits the bill. They are adding 14 additional items to their menu in 2024. My favorite item on their current menu is their short rib pho. The broth is delicious and flavorful. The other items are just as good and fresh and are worth a try. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Parking is in the lot.
